Privacy Notice
Last updated: 24 September 2026
This notice explains what personal information this website collects, why, and what your rights are.
Who I am
This website is run by Lloyd Edwards, a musician based in Bath. I am responsible for the personal information collected through it. You can contact me about this notice at ledwardsmusic@gmail.com.
What I collect
If you use a contact form on this site, I receive your name, email address and message. If you email me, I receive your email address and anything you choose to include. Squarespace, which hosts this site, also collects basic information about visits, such as pages viewed, browser type and approximate location, using cookies.
Music therapy enquiries
The contact forms on this site are for gigs and bookings only. Please don’t include health or other sensitive information in them. If you’d like to ask about music therapy, email me directly at lloyd@therhythmpractice.org, which is kept separate from my music enquiries. If you go on to have sessions with me, you’ll be given separate information about how session records are kept.
Why I use it
I use your details only to reply to your enquiry and, if we go ahead, to arrange and manage a booking. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in responding to people who contact me, or taking steps at your request before we agree a booking. I don’t sell your information or use it for marketing, and I won’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask me to.
Who else handles it
Squarespace hosts this website and stores form submissions, and my email is provided by Google. Both act on my behalf and may store data outside the UK under recognised safeguards.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiries only for as long as I need them to deal with your request or booking, and I regularly delete old messages.
Your rights
You can ask me for a copy of the information I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to how I use it. Just email me. If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This site uses cookies set by Squarespace to make the site work and to count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
